Bio:
I’m an Indian American filmmaker, writer, and cinephile with a deep passion for storytelling. In my free time, I’ve directed two short films using the medium to explore narratives that resonate with authenticity and emotion. I've also assisted in other student-run film productions understanding the way films are produced. As a film critic, I share my thoughts on cinema through my Substack, where I write in-depth reviews, analyses, and awards coverage. My approach combines a filmmaker's eye with a critic's insight, aiming to celebrate the art of storytelling while engaging with diverse audiences. I’m eager to gain more real-world experience in filmmaking, from collaborating with creative teams to working on professional sets. My ultimate goal is to continue honing my craft and contribute meaningfully to the world of cinema, both as a filmmaker and as a voice for the stories that inspire us.
