Tanner performances were the second part of a three part national tour and exhibition, sponsored by the Ford Foundation. Performances were staged at several prestigious museums around the country including The DE Young, The Detroit Institute of Arts, Philadelphia Museum and the High Museum in Atlanta, GA. Vinto is a Screen Actors Guild member. Vinto starred in Two Plus One, the critically acclaimed film by Eugene Martin, opposite Deirdre Lewis and William Sage. Vinto relocated to New York where he immersed himself in the creative community. He founded 1016 Films Inc., with co-founder Elvis Nolasco. This led to him occasionally fine-tuning a few scripts through the Frank Silvera Workshop and the Frederick Douglas Creative Arts Center, co-founded by longtime friend, the late Fred Hudson. Tony consulted for Sony/BMG, developing content. He made his directorial debut as director of the not yet released short film BADMAN, starring Elvis Nolasco, co-star of the Television series Godfather of Harlem, Claws and the ABC drama American Crime. Tony directed a second short film MENAGE. As a writer and collaborator, Tony has worked with some of the most creative minds of his generation, including James Mc Bride, Ed Schockley and Regina Taylor. Tony currently works for Advocates Professional Services Inc., as VP and Sr. Analyst.
